Diamond Way Buddhism in Edinburgh
Our Buddhist Group is based near the Edinburgh City centre, in the “art’s complex” building on London Road and meets twice a week for a guided meditation on the 16th Karmapa. The Meditation is suitable both for experienced buddhists and also people that have never meditated before. If it is your first time visiting the group then we will give an introduction to Buddhism and explain how the Diamond Way fits into the overall Buddhist structure. There will then be short instruction of how to meditate before the main focus of the evening, the 16th Karmapa meditation. We have a small collection of Buddhist books and magazines that members are welcome to use.
We regularly hold courses on Buddhism and Buddhist meditation classes, guided by experienced practitioners and travelling teachers appointed by Lama Ole Nydahl. All weekly Diamond Way Buddhist meditation classes are free of charge.
Please note: there is a secured entrance to the art’s complex building. Contact us on 07586 304768 upon your arrival or let us know in advance via the contact details below.
