Liverpool Diamond Way Buddhist Centre
Our Liverpool Buddhist Centre is in the Tuebrook district. The beautiful location, within the conservation area around Newsham Park, offers a magnificient view over large streches of the oldest communal park in Liverpool. The Centre building itself is a Victorian house. It provides space for people to meet and meditate as well as living space for friends.
We regularly hold courses on Buddhism and Buddhist meditation classes, guided by experienced practitioners and travelling teachers appointed by Lama Ole Nydahl. If you, your community group, or your school class are interested in learning more about meditation and Buddhism in Liverpool and would like to receive authentic information, we can help. We can organise a visit to our Buddhist Centre at a mutually convenient time or alternatively can visit your community group or school for talks, presentations or discussions. Introduction to Buddhism followed by Guided Buddhist meditation – 16th Karmapa meditation. This meditation is suitable for newcomers and experienced Buddhists alike. Every second Wednesday of the month there is an extended introduction to Buddhism. |
