Exeter Diamond Way Buddhist Centre
Our Exeter Buddhist Centre is just 10 min walk from the lovely ancient city centre of Exeter. The house is a traditional English terrace built in the 1880s which has been modernised whilst keeping many of it’s original features. The meditation room is on the top floor of the house and is a comfortable space with impressive traditional Buddhist art in a contemporary setting. We meet several times a week and on Thursday evenings we have a short introduction to Buddhism and a brief explanation on how to meditate for newcomers. On Monday evenings we have our normal 16th Karmapa meditation, a short break, then a Loving eyes meditation. There is a small Library of Buddhist books, magazines, DVD’s and regular live streamings of lectures with Lama Ole Nydahl. We have a program of travelling teachers along with other Buddhist related activities such as open days and additional weekend meditation sessions.
All our weekly Buddhist meditation classes are free of charge at the Exeter centre. For further information on meditation times or events at the centre, please visit the main Exeter centre website here
